A print shop and photo journal I run on the side: my grandfather Les’s street photography from Paris, New York and Italy alongside the small things I notice outdoors. It is also where most of the ideas in the client work get tried first.
Kunack started as somewhere to put photographs that were not going anywhere else — mine, and a much larger archive of my grandfather’s. His are the streets of old Paris, New York and Italy; mine are whatever I stop for outdoors.
It runs on Statamic behind a commerce driver I can swap out, and it has been taking real orders since July. With no client to answer to it is also the one project where something half-finished can ship on a Tuesday and be rewritten on Thursday — several patterns on this site started there.
The side project is the research budget.
