Inside Webb

  • Framer
  • Motion
  • Community

A school community portal built animation-first in Framer. Every section moves, and none of the movement gets between a parent and the calendar.

Most visitors already know where they are going, so the motion had to reward a visit without slowing one down. Transitions run short and everything stays two taps away.

Section transitions were storyboarded before a single component was built.

Framer earned its place here. The client wanted to keep editing the layout after launch rather than file tickets, and a file they can open is worth more than a few kilobytes of animation code.

It moves like an app and updates like a document.
